time for another blogging session!!

it's time to update u guys about last week again~~~

well...i gotta admit i slacked a little too much last week!

wed pon both lectures.....which started to haunt me cause i felt so guilty and scared now since i ponned so much!!! so today [monday] i've been reading the textbook....but half the day has gone and i haven finish one chapter!!!

oh ya....last week kind of sucked the moment i came back to my room....those who know will know what i'm saying....guess it's stress....? it got so bad that i went to talk to my friend about it and i was starting to doubt next year will i be able to do it for another year......

[see i told u those who know will get it while those who dun will be thinking "wth is this cmy talking about...."]

but it only troubled me for like a day? cos at night i got a call~~~

me : "hello?"

me : [stunned for a while] "huh?? why u call??? where are u now???"

trina : "uk lah...i'm calling from uk...."

[at this very moment i tot to myself i better talk fast fast since the phone bill might kill me..]

trina : "no lah....i'm calling from home...i'm in singapore!"

the next thing i know is that i was screaming into the phone and jumping outside my room!!!

haha....was a great surprise though....

according to her it's her one month holiday after which she will go back to uk....on 12th april....[which is like one week before my birthday~ :(]

then she will study for like another 1 month or so then she will get her 3 months holiday....then she'll go travelling before she comes back....

envious but can't wait for her to be back again then!!

we'll be meeting up!!!

then i will think as well....when will tay yi lun come back....haha~~~

think this may or june or july when all my dear friends will be back in singapore!!

oh oh....gotta mention about my bloomberg internship interview too.....

got to know that i am supposed to go for internship on thursday....and had to prepare a short presentation....the thing is....ABOUT WHAT?!

haha....but i just went without much preparation....guess i won't be nervous like that....

got around 30~40 people in my slot and got to know there was another one with like 70 people....and they were like year 2, 3, 4 like that with great resumes....while i was like one to the 5 year ones?

but surprisingly i wasn't very nervous....i must prove that i am not that insignificant too!

so i went up and introduced myself...in front of so many strangers....a bit kou chi again but i wasn't shivering all that....i guess giving so many presentations before that really trained me for stuff like this~

results haven come out....but i won't be sad if i din get it....i was quite proud of my guts already :)

made a few new friends though i dun really remember their names liao....only know adeline from abc...haha!

then we were all walking to the mrt station....and they suddenly asked : "are u attached?" to everyone....

hmm....this seemed to be a very popular topic in uni....

then they were saying "yes" "yes" "yes"

"you?"

smart me gave a perfect answer....

"can u find a guy who's taller than me in ntu??"

haha!

not that there are none lah....

but they all laughed

friday was a holiday so went home after the internship interview....

finally~~ home...

i miss papa mama!

and of cos my dearest princess!!!

but i think this weekend i may have to stay in hall to study again~~

will miss them even more~~

can u believe it's 2 weeks ago since i last blogged? time passes so fast liao....

let me update what had happened for the past 2 crazy weeks....

first week-----stats test....so basically had been studying for it for the whole week....but so freaking stupid...the last qn which is like 4 out of 10 marks i only discover my mistake at the very last min!!!! there goes my 4 marks....

enjoyed myself so much that i felt that time like ZOOMED past...........

we kbox for like 3 hours at the marina outlet....THAT OUTLET ROX MAN....

nice room nice food nice service....:D:D will only go there from that day onwards....HEE

then after that me and xt just went shopping lo....i din plan to buy anything lah....since i wanna save money....so just basically went to see clothes with xt.....for xt, to be true....haha....

so came to this shop....with clothes that xt like a lot....but i wasn't really attracted by their clothes...a bit over the top for me lah.....so i just help xt see then she go try them on.....

then xt tot i was sian so she kept asking me to look ard and try something on.....and so, i did.....i shouldn't have~~~~~~

saw this victorian style top which is very long.....and it's black.....SO NICE!! so i decided to try it out.....

the next thing i know is that i've decided to buy it.................

there goes $29~~~

haha....but it's supposed to be $58 and there was a 50% off....

oh ya....thurs night was a very lonely night for me.....no one in hall to eat dinner with me.....

NO ONE....either went holland v to eat without me or some other thing.....SO LONELY!!

realise i hate loneliness....and it can affect me for quite long....like that night even when my friends all come back liao...i will emo liao~

haha...but it was a good time to study!

oh yar.....and i sort of like slack on thurs night till 2 am.....then i went to slp cos lesson at 1030 [by right it's 830 but i pon~]

i woke up and saw the time....and i stared at it for like 30 sec....is my clock right? are my eyes right? i tot i set the alarm?!

they're fun and nice ppl.....i guessed i took a little too long to like them....well....i've learnt more about myself....i take very long to get use to ppl....

finally recess week was here!!! [despite me typing this on the last day of the break...]

and it wasn't really a break for us since it's for the lagging us to catch up....[which i just totally failed to catch up!!! X_X..... even more stressed now....]

but well....let me update about my recess week!

first up!

the gathering with the beloved 26/05! though it's like only me ms vita jing wei kia boon priscillia [did i spell her name right again?!] hanxi herlina ka yee....:D

who went for the trip:

there's pak, kawei [papa], ming feng [new guy but he hung around with us very well...], me, corine, fuyi, xin yi, bing yao, estee [new gal but hung with us so well that she used to be the princess of our blk and now she has become ONE OF US....haha....wat can i say....we're nice ppl :)], geraldine aka lychee [but now i call her shuai didi cause that day she wore a cap and she was really like SHUAI DIDI...], benji, shereen, cute peiwen, shiwei, felly aka fairy [aiyoh! haha] theo, and of cos tiff, and jia ying....

us on the first day at harbour front b4 setting off....we had a great time just looking at each other's passport photos~ haha

us on the ferry...

here are us taking silly photos....got jia ying estee me and corine....we share a room....or should i say we share 2 rooms since one hotel got 2 rooms... me corine xinyi share a bed while jiaying and estee share the other room....

it's us again....xin yi was eating the donut and she hated the cream....so she had the face and me and estee are the extras....HEE

we played in the pool like we owned the whole hotel since there's like no one...haha....very fun to play captain ball's in the pool....

oh....and we went for dinner outside the hotel....and the waiter stunned us all with his skills of carrying the dishes......

pro right....can't count how many dishes there are!

tried on this nerdy glasses and tried to look pervertic....do i do i??? haha...i bet i look too nice to be pervertic....this only cost like S$5....haha....got a lot of glasses whichme corine jiaying tiff theo benji and fuyi went to try out...apparently the auntie not very happy with us trying the glasses and having a good time...look at her....no wonder i felt someone staring at the back of my head.....HAHAHA.....in the end only corine fuyi and benji bought....cause i still can't get over the charles and keith sunglasses.....[should i get it should i get it??]

this is something that we played that's called ATV... quite fun! though weather was very hot~

well...get over the grief of not getting into exchange prog....come on come on come on!!!

shall update about my week...

it was kind of a bad start this week....X_X

very very sian....i came back and on my com...then my com say some sort of updates so must restart...and so i did.....AND IT NV STARTED!!!!!!!

so, great...

my lappy in coma in front of me and i can't use it....AND I GOT MARKETING PROJECT!

lucky i did my parts at home and sent it to my group members....

so was lappy-less for 2 days...and so...no updates on blog~~then i called the hp person who was so kind to guide me thru and helped me fixed my com thru the phone....so basically i did fixed my lappy myself...with the help of the experts...XP

nothing reallly happened then...erm....elective quiz on tues and econs quiz today [fri]

econs quiz got 8/10....tot was ok though i was confident of scoring higher..........

oh ya....my roomie made it into INSTEP....she'll be gg korea for next sem!!!! so good.....

but now means i have to find a new roomie for next sem!! [provided i can stay lah~~ which i hope i can!!! NO HALL LIFE=NO UNIVERSITY LIFE=EVEN MORE PATHETIC AND SAD AND SIAN AND...............]

oh yes...i forgot to mention about my most horrible trip to the hair salon....
the freaking disgusting woman just chopped off my beautiful long straight hair that i treasured and loved and have kept for a year!!!!!!

wow....wat a week....have been so busy since mon....or tues to be honest....'ve been sleelping at 2 plus in the morning for the past 2, 3 days...all because MON WENT SHOPPING!

haha....gotta understand lah... new year's coming so gotta go shopping for clothes...

actually also because got 3 projects due this week! so suay lah...all happen to clash and together due this week...

okok....let's talk about my week starting from sun :)

it was pak's birthday!

so we waited for the birthday boy to come back and sang birthday song to him...haha....then naughty us planned and asked darren to smudge cream across his face....hee...

then after that me yen corine tif[which was replaced by benji since she played till quite cui! hahahaha] bing yao and yee theng played monopoly till like 2am! quite fun though i din want to play in the first place....i end up 2nd i think...

as u know....went shopping in bugis with corine since mon is my free day....dun say i bad influence but corine skipped her lecture to go shopping....IT WASN'T ME... she wanted to shop de...then since i in shopping mood as well so i went with her...:) bought a pair of shoes...just a simple black shoes...

nice? haha...bought from bugis street for only 19.90 lah....not bad lo...not very pain just that it's very very plain...i like the flower prints at the bottom though....although only my foot will be able to see that when i wear it...

then bought nothing else...corine managed to buy this dress...brown colour tube dress like that....she looked very sweet in it :)

ok...then we went to V8 to eat....when i go there i will think of trina, xt and crystal they all...cos we went there to eat b4....very nice the food :)

but then as a result of shopping...i'm seriously lagging behind my tut...nv do econs tut stats tut marketing tut....and got marketing presentation and got OB presentation and got stats project...

just looking at the tasks i got stressed....

so came back from the shopping and plunged into preparing for presentation....

OB sem....first time wear full formal wear! long white sleeve and skirt....haha..gotta admit i look kind of smart in it....not that i not smart enough...WAHAHA....

but the experience was fun lah...though movements like very restricted....so paiseh first time wear the skirt and there's this "kai cha" at the end with the end sewed together....then in the morning i was late so i have to move very fast....then....."plack" the thread snapped....

NOT THAT I FAT OR MY MOVEMENTS THAT BIG OK...

look nicer without the sewing somemore....heeeeee

so ob sem took place...and i raised my hand for the first time to raise my opinion....just that very "kang ka" when after i say then everyone was quiet....then this guy shoot my opinion...lucky got this other guy backed me up....apparently i should learn to get use to speaking my voice out....

and then our presentation....so paiseh lah....i was doing ok though i was very nervous then i said "depressed" to "deprived"!!!!

almost laughed out myself but i was looking at my other sem mates and they looked serious just that got one guy was giggling so i was a bit affected....but i carried on as usual....

then the Q&A session....so scary lah...my group was like quiet after the questions were asked then i cannot stand it so i will always talk.... like when i talk i hope the rest are thinking of solutions to answer or to support me....

sadly my prof said we missed out on a lot of details.....she kept assuring us that that doesn't mean we won't do well just that she will compare with other groups and rank us according....which sounds bad.....:(

but she did mentioned that i was smooth and sound confident....that at least was not bad....but out group will have to buck up for the next presentation....!!

then today went for marketing presentation....luckily prof said we did quite well

another embarrassing thing happened too...i wanted to say bones and joints.....

and there was this guy who asked us questions and kirsty [i spelt correctly?] sort of saved us with her own opinion....she damn zai....

that's sort of like my busy week....right now i have to go type out minutes for the korean club and then send contact list to my pres then do my econs tut then stats tut if i have time....

at least now i think my time is spent wisely....if not i would spent it on online shopping

realise i really like being quiet and alone at times....

or just stop what i'm doing.....look away from the stupid book that i've been staring for so long and can't absorb....look out of the window and listen to the sound of the wind....

today i woke up early to do tutorial... quite accomplished since i've finished my econs and stats tut... but i closed my door throughout and din log in to msn....

haha....no lah....just that i'm learning more about the quiet side of me....i'm not that loud and noisy afterall....:)

of cos there are moments i get high....like super funky all that....haha

but right now....it's just me the wind and the soft background music.....

i'm supposed to go town with yen and corine tmr to cut hair!!

then i was like so excited over it since this morning...

THEN I SUDDENLY REMEMBERED I GOT PROJECT MEETING!!!

my mood just came crashing down like what lah....

so now i very sian diao...no mood for anything...maybe that's why i'm emo-ing....

talking to yilun over msn now...she seemed to be very stressed over her exams....

woman if u're reading this....just dun be too stressed!! i know u can do it and it's just all in ur head...enjoy ur time there though i know the rest are damn smart too....but hey...u can't expect an idiot to make it into med sch right?!

this weekend was happily spent...i dunno why too...just felt kind of accomplished...maybe cause i got this whole list of things that i need to buy and i managed to buy :)but so silly lah...i bought tissue boxes and i forgot to bring them up to my hall....arggggggggg

forget it forget it....i can just bring them back next week....provided they're not "kupped" by my family...

oh~ i remembered why i am so happy liao!!!

this is my view of the stage....at first i tot it's kind of bad...but u see...it's very near the stage! [provided he come to this side of the stage lah~]

and he did! this photo is kind of bad but bu yao huai yi....that's jay :)

he can really sing live very well! and he's very funny la...or should i say entertaining.... he really knows how to make his fans happy...saying things like "na li you ren shen ri hai kai yen chang hui de....dan shi mei kuan xi....yin wei ze li shi xin jia bo...!" meaning....where got people have concert on their birthday? but it's ok....because it's singapore.....make all the fans so happy....when it's so obvious it's for show de...

but i like him more after his concert....he really very talented!

so funny though we dun really know how to sing his songs....i mean....i know like maybe the chorus only while shan and yi like lost for most of the time....esp when he sang his songs from the new album....think they were hearing it for the first time! haha

oh oh....he got forget his lyrics if that wasn't on purpose.....haha...he sang wrongly then later he just change the whole lyrics....IMPROMTU....[did i spell that right]

ok....that was wat made me very happy over the weekend....and this weekend we were supposedly gg shopping so i was even more happy..... though i only bought my groceries to use in hall....[and i still stupidly forgot to bring my tissue boxes up....ARG!]

sat went for korean lesson....was very slpy....should know why lah hor...spent a lot of energy screaming and singing in the concert...haha....then actually wanted to go cut hair de....then since it was a saturday and the salons were all crowded, i decided to postpone my cutting of hair....till.....DUNNO WHEN!

then at night we went changi village to eat....GUESS WHO WE BUMP INTO???

i really gotta say it's really very very coincidental that we bumped them [again]....but come to think of it...the whole wong family and uncle sam thing had been really coincidental from the beginning....

we were walking walking and we saw uncle wong.... and his whole family and uncle sam were eating at the other restaurant...so we went to say hi....then me and yi talked to ping ping and lilian....got a lot of things to say when we see them de leh....then got kevin too...and i was like "war gg to start again is it?"

ok...i'm kind of bored now...was hoping can go shopping but now still at home...so i'm typing this...
BUT I'M VERY HAPPY CAUSE I MANAGED TO GET THE COFFEE PRINCE SONG!!

okok...here are my tots about my trip to wonderful europe!!!

yap... went to frankfurt of germany [1 & 1/2 days] berne, lucerne, lugano, interlaken, mt titlis of switzerland [dunno how many days...] and venice, orvieto, pisa, rome of italy [ 13-1&1/2 days-dunno how many days] with my family....and with the Wong family and auntie's sister and Uncle Sam...:)

from the right...uncle sam, shan, yi, papa, me, mama, ping ping, auntie, uncle wong, lilian...then come kevin and auntie's sister...

the trip started off with meeting at the airport with the wong family...SO EXCITED!! haha...saw ping ping and we were like "oh gosh that time still can't wait for the day to arrive and now we're on our way!!!"
so we boarded the plane and flew away...around 12 hours on the plane...watched stardust...very nice! can't really sleep....

oh oh! there was this mad guy on the plane la!! sitting in front of papa...which means diagonally in front of me...and i was sitting at the aisle seat...like the moment we flew off he started drinking...red wine wateva wine all drink dunno how many cups...din notice he was drunk until he stood up to go to the toilet and he almost hit me in the face on his way cause he couldn't balance himself!!! and he just dun wanna stop and kept drinking....poor air stewardess... cannot dun give him his wine when he kept asking for it....he was so drunk till he dropped a lot of his side dishes onto the floor...and he wanted to pick them up but can't...so he just use his foot and kick the dishes under his seat....he even spilt red wine on himself...it was then i realised.....MY LAPTOP WAS UNDER HIS SEAT!!!

lucky laptop cover is water proof....ok....let's not let this dampen my spirits for the trip...

frankfurt! got to know that our tour guide is called eva and our coach driver is a german...called andy...we went straight for the hotel...then when we reached the hotel...on my way down the coach..."BAM" my luggage stand slammed against the steps and broke...nvm...it's ok...

upon checking in...since we're a "family"of 12...they assigned 6 twins bedroom for us...and my family is 5 ppl...that means one person is out...and that means it's me...so i got to know that i will be sharing room with lilian...at first a bit paiseh...but wasn't very worried since lilian is a nice person! :D

yap...that's lilian and me in our last hotel in rome...pretty sia...big eyes, nice personality and dancer!

haha...okok...the next day we went to black forest...yes...remember black forest cake?! that's where it came from...

this is just on the way to black forest...damn beautiful sia!

germany's famous fried trotters....ssssssoooooooo unhealthy....but nice! WAHAHA~

and of course....german beer....it's very nice! hey...even a non-alcoholic person like me says it's nice...it's gotta be nice....think the alcohol i've consumed in these 13 days will be like the most i've ever drank....

the best forest cake!!!! really very very nice....i can eat one whole cake by myself....the cherries got a bit of alcohol but really very very nice!!!

after we went to see see the cuckoo clock shop...we went to take lots of photos at this area filled with nothing else but SNOW!! there shan yi and i made snow angels :)

in a shop in interlaken drinking the hot chocolate...so nice to drink in a cold weather....

ate this somewhere in switzerland....DAMN NICE....totally excited upon seeing it....it's like a big block of cheese under this lamp then it will melt...then the person will scrap it onto the bread then quickly cut for u....so u'll get melted cheese which is like so SO DELICIOUS~~

this is another embarrassing thing....we heard that einstein lived at 49... so we rushed down and quickly take this 49....so amazing u know...no one else taking photos there....then we were thinking how come ppl now dun care about einstein...einstein leh!!

just returned from europe...germany switzerland and italy...!!
what can i say??
only 2 days in germany though...but it was very nice:) the start of the long awaited vacation :)
switzerland...nice place...nice history...nice people....breath taking scenaries....
italy...good food...beautiful artchitects...AMAZING arts....

wanna say more....but a bit lazy....cause i rushing off to watch drama....coffee prince for the 2nd time! and i'm still waiting for e zuo ju 2 wen's 3rd epi....i watch till the 2nd epi and i already so heartache for xiang qin....... weep weep
